greetings from Old Town Orange! The Plaza has
such a great charming personality I just had to
let you know. With outdoors dining, specialty
shops and the central plaza park this makes it a
great place to unwind on the weekend. Favorites
are Watson Drug Store (Movie Location for Tom
Hanks - That Thing You Do), antique dealers, Hot
Skate (Cool Clothing Apparel).
Looking for
discovery without the hike - this may be the
place for you and your kids. Visit this
mountainside community a day after a nice rain
and be ready to explore a nice gentle babbling
creek that offers great outdoor exploration. At
the end of Silverado Canyon Road you'll find the
Ranger Station and other outdoor
adventures.
Great day to be
hiking - went out to Whiting ranch this morning,
couldn't ask for a nicer location. Walking
briskly along the trail you can't help but be
reenergized by the wonderful outdoor scenery. As
I walked further into the trail I discovered
smaller trails. One led to Red Rock Canyon which
was well worth walk. Be sure to bring your hiking
shoes and camera.
